ABOUT BOB BROWN FOUNDATION
Dr Bob Brown is a lifelong environmental activist who led the campaign that saved Tasmania’s Franklin River from damming in 1983. In just a few years, the Bob Brown Foundation has become one of Australia’s boldest – and most creative – environment protection campaign organisations. We focus on protecting Australia’s remaining native forests and endangered species habitats, as well as stopping new coal mines, to help safeguard our planet’s climate.
