For over 30 years, Lighthouse Foundation has provided homes and therapeutic care programs to children and young people impacted by long-term neglect, abuse and homelessness. But our mission remains the same: to create caring communities where kids can feel safe, form meaningful relationships and begin to heal from traumatic experiences.
Our evidence-based Model of Care, developed by Lighthouse founder, Susan Barton AM, has successfully transformed the lives of over 1,000 vulnerable young people, empowering them to heal, thrive and build brighter futures. But it’s a big job, and it takes time and money.
