ABOUT SAMMY D FOUNDATION

The Sammy D Foundation was founded in 2008, after the tragic death of Sam Davis, victim of a one-punch assault.

Following the devastating loss of their son, Nat Cook and Neil Davis established the foundation to give every young person the knowledge and tools they need to live free from violence.

With a purpose to end violence by connecting and empowering young people, thirteen years on, the foundation has spread Sam’s message across hundreds of schools, community groups and sporting clubs, raising awareness and educating over 140,000 young people about the consequences of violent behaviour, and the risks associated with alcohol and drug misuse.

By providing relevant, age-appropriate information, knowledge and tools, the foundation aims to empower young people to make positive life decisions for a better community.
