ABOUT STROKE FOUNDATION

The Stroke Foundation is the voice of stroke in Australia. As a national charity, they partner with the community to prevent, treat and beat stroke. They raise awareness and foster much-needed conversations between the community, health professionals and governments, advocating for improved health outcomes for all Australians affected by stroke. They work with stroke survivors and their families at every stage – not just in the immediate aftermath of a stroke but along the whole journey of recovery – however long that takes.

Relying on the support of the community, they also engage with researchers and other professionals, to fund research and advocate for initiatives. These are each integral to the Stroke Foundation’s fulfilling their vision of a world free from disability and suffering caused by stroke.
