Hear the birdsong, feel the cool spring-fed water and look out across the awe-inspiring mountain ridges and valleys of the Flinders Ranges.

This South Australian adventure encompasses a variety of stunning landscapes from high red-rock outcroppings, spring-fed creeks, deep gorges and some of the oldest fossilised rock formations on Earth.

You’ll trek through two different national parks: Ikara-Flinders Ranges and Mount Remarkable. You’ll walk along part of the Heysen Trail, the length of which stretches 1,200 kilometres from Cape Jervis into the Flinders Ranges. This is an exhilarating adventure, though achievable for most at 47 kilometres over five days, filled with sights and sounds that will bring you closer to the heart of Australia.
