The Bay of Fires, nestled remotely in the northeast corner of Tasmania, is one of Australia’s most magical regions for its unrivalled natural beauty and ever changing moods.

Departing from Launceston, over 5 unforgettable days, you will discover the many wonders this scenic region has to offer. You will visit awe-inspiring Mt William National Park and the impressive pink granite lighthouse at Eddystone Point, beautiful Anson’s Bay and the Bay of Fires Conservation Area.

Gifted with endless allure, nature lovers will be captivated by the pristine beaches, dramatic rock formations, hidden bays and striking headlands of the Tasmanian east coast.

Best of all, with every kilometre you cover on this inspiring adventure you will be helping BCNA support Australians affected by breast cancer.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer diagnosed in women. In fact, on any one day, 53 Australian women will hear the words “you have breast cancer”.

Breast Cancer Network Australia is the peak national organisation for Australians affected by breast cancer. We work to ensure that they receive the very best support, information, treatment and care appropriate to their individual needs.

More than 90 per cent of our members have had a diagnosis of breast cancer, and the remaining members have had a personal experience with breast cancer through a family member or friend.

By fundraising for Breast Cancer Network Australia, you are changing lives. The resources and support we can provide as a result of the fundraising through BCNA’s Tasmanian Coastal Trek 2019 can really change someone’s breast cancer journey. By raising the $3,000 required for this trip, you will enable 13 people affected by breast cancer to attend our information forums free-of-charge to have their questions answered.

Together, we can continue to support, inform, represent and connect Australians affected by breast cancer.
