On this 7 day adventure, discover Central Australia as you challenge yourself to trek one of Australia’s most renowned walking tracks.
Together with a team of enthusiastic adventurers, make the journey along the West MacDonnell Mountain Ranges following a mix of well-defined paths, rugged hills and steep descents. Learn about the dreamtime of the Western Arrernte Aboriginal people and of the region’s long geological history and rich biodiversity. As you walk along the best trekking trail in Australia, surrounded by vast stretches of red desert plains and ancient bush, you’ll enjoy an incredible experience with new lifelong friends and fund vital research projects for Cure Brain Cancer Foundation.
Sadly, around 1700 Australians will be diagnosed with brain cancer every year. By joining this adventure, you’ll be supporting the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation to achieve their mission of increasing five-year survival for brain cancer patients to 50% by 2023.
All of the funds raised from this challenge will go directly to their dedicated research programs to identify new drugs, develop a better understanding of the biology of the tumour and to increase the number of patients gaining access to these pivotal clinical trials.
