Cambodian Children’s Fund transforms the country’s most disadvantaged kids into tomorrow’s leaders. Pedal for Progress is your opportunity to raise funds for this life changing work all while exploring the beauty of Cambodia by bike.

On this 10-day Cambodian cycling adventure, fill your senses with the sights, sounds and smells of Southeast Asia. Walk the tree-lined boulevards of Siem Reap and discover the magnificent Angkor Temple Complex, before cycling beyond the city limits into the unfolding countryside: through rice paddies, sugar-palm plantations and small villages. Spend half a day discovering the secrets to traditional Cambodian cuisine and learn more about the remarkable history of the Khmer people.

The adventure concludes in Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s bustling capital. Here you will have free time to explore the contrasts of ancient and modern, and learn more about the confronting history of this country.

You will have the very special opportunity to visit Cambodian Children’s Fund project site, Sambok Chab, and see your fundraising in action. You will hear from staff about the challenges faced working within impoverished communities in Cambodia and meet the young children your fundraising will support. Nothing short of extraordinary, you will also meet the children at the school you raised funds for and volunteer for the day alongside some of the youth leadership students on community projects.

Every dollar raised on this extraordinary adventure will go towards one of Cambodian Children’s Fund’s satellite schools, Sambok Chab.

Sambok Chab is a lovely community school, situated right in the heart of Steung Meanchey, one of the most impoverished parts of Cambodia and where Cambodian Children’s Fund runs most of its programs.

The school has a population of around 148 students ranging from grades 1 to 6 and aged from six years old to 14 years.

The team fundraising goal of $80,000 will help fund the school for one year, covering everything from school uniforms and learning materials, teachers, meals for students and building maintenance.
