Ride for Research is an incredible cycling adventure that is raising funds for type 1 diabetes research, helping improve the lives of the 120,000 Australians affected by this disease.

On this 10-day cycling adventure, you’ll explore the breathtaking country of Cambodia and discover this incredible region of Southeast Asia by bike.

Your introduction to Cambodia begins with a dive into the lively city of Siem Reap, and the opportunity to witness the magnificence of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Angkor and its temples. Saying farewell to the city life, you’ll begin your cycle across the vivid countryside, with rice paddies and rolling plains as your backdrop. You’ll pedal your way to the nation’s capital of Phnom Penh and have ample free time to explore the city.

This adventure gives you an amazing opportunity to see how truly enchanting Cambodia is, and in a challenging and extraordinary way. The experience will not only change your life but will also change the lives of others as you help JDRF raise vital funds for T1D research.

By joining the Ride for Research, you’ll be a part of JDRF’s army of supporters who are working to lessen the burden of T1D. The funds raised for the challenge will go towards critical research in the areas of cure, prevention and treatment. Every research project has the potential to accelerate life-changing breakthroughs, helping turn type one into type none!
