It’s true – just walking through this awe-inspiring city is an incredible experience. Now picture yourself pounding the pavements of this concrete jungle on Team Miracle Babies in the 2018 TCS New York City Marathon.
As you run from Staten Island to Manhattan and cross the Queensboro Bridge, you’ll feel yourself digging deeper as you push yourself to reach that finish line in Central Park, millions of people on the sidelines cheering you on.
Not only will you have completed the TCS New York City Marathon, you’ll also have raised the vital funds to support Miracle Babies Foundation in their mission to achieve ‘better, healthier outcomes for newborns and their families challenged by prematurity and sickness.’
All funds raised in the Marathon for Miracles, will help Miracle Babies Foundation provide vital programs and resources to support and enhance a family’s experience from a threatened pregnancy, hospital journey with a premature or sick newborn, the transition to home and beyond.
– More than 48,000 babies are born premature or sick each year in Australia
– 132 babies born each day requiring specialised care
– $67 provides full support to a premature or sick newborn and their family
– For each $10,000 raised, you are supporting 150 families
