Join MS Queensland’s Larapinta Trek and ensure no one faces Multiple Sclerosis (MS) alone.

In July 2021 we’ll be exploring one of the most exciting bush walking trails in the whole of Australia for an amazing cause – trekking to support Queenslanders with MS.

The Larapinta Trail is a stunning walking track in the Northern Territory of Australia. It’s over 223km in length, and this adventure covers some of the most exciting elements of this track.

You’ll begin this once in a lifetime trek in Alice Springs, to explore this ruggedly

beautiful town in the heart of Central Australia and hear from Aranda Elders on the history of the area. From Alice Springs you’ll head into the wilderness, taking on one of Australia’s most famous and loved bushwalking trails.

You’ll explore the majestic WestMacDonnell Ranges, Mount Zeil (the highest point in the Northern Territory) and Redbank Gorge as well as many other iconic natural landmarks. As you do so, you’ll fall in love with Australia all over again and get a chance to immerse yourself in the wilderness.

MS Queensland helps people living with MS and other neurological conditions to get the best out of life; to advocate for change; and to search for a cure.

With limited government funding, MS Queensland relies heavily on the support of individuals to get involved and help raise much-needed funding to provide vital services across Queensland and help search for a cure.

Their mission is to be the first-choice for MS information, education, treatment care and support across Queensland, and with your help they’ll be able to support more people suffering with MS and other neurological conditions. Your support helps to ensure that no Queenslander has to face MS alone.

By joining this adventure, you’ll be supporting MS Queensland to ensure no one faces Multiple Sclerosis (MS) alone. This specific challenge will raise funds to support Queenslanders living in remote areas who can’t get access to the kind of support and care they need. Your funds will support the delivery of services such as physiotherapy and exercise therapy, psychology, nursing support and special disability accommodation to assist those living with MS in regional areas of Queensland.
