As part of this incredible adventure, you will traverse along the most spectacular and rewarding sections of the trail, trekking over 60 kilometres. You will discover the beautiful, untamed landscapes of Australia’s Red Centre, taking in everything from ancient red rock formations and spectacular gorges to magnificent canyons and crowd-pleasing sunsets. You will visit sites sacred to the Arrernte people and learn the history of Australia’s traditional owners and gain a deeper understanding of indigenous culture.

Best of all, you will be part of the fight against pancreatic cancer. Only together we can make a long-lasting difference.

Pancreatic, liver, biliary, oesophageal and stomach cancers generally receive very limited media exposure relative to other cancers. Cancer awareness, research and education is essential in improving the outcomes of these cancers. Pancreatic cancer in particular has a prognosis and based on current statistics will become the second leading cause of cancer.

Pancare Foundation is dedicated to putting a spotlight on these cancers. To exploring new treatments that will improve the quality of life for patients and their families, and supporting the delivery of new research and clinical trials that will lead to less deaths and one day a cure. The challenge is huge, but one that’s worth the fight.

Together we can be part of the fight against pancreatic cancer. Only together we can make a long-lasting difference.

Every dollar you raise through this incredible challenge will allow us to significantly increase our investment in research, doubling our efforts to develop early detection tools and better treatments options for patients. Increased funding for patient services will help improve the lives of people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer today, as well as those who are diagnosed in the future.
