Join the ShelterBox Cape to Cape Coastal Walk 2021 and help ShelterBox Australia create a world where no family goes without shelter after disaster.

Between the lighthouses of Cape Naturaliste and the isolated coves of Gnoocardup, this trek takes you along one of the most spectacular coastlines in Western Australia.

Over 5 days, you will trek through breath-taking coastal and forest scenery, across this ever-changing landscape—witnessing the fascinating geological cliffs, caves, rock formations and headlands.

Perched atop the coastal cliffs, you’ll immerse yourself in the natural surroundings of this region and experience some of the highlights it has to offer, including Kilcarnup, Bob’s Hollow, Horseshoe Bay, Prevelly and many more sights. With a stop at Gracetown—one of the few spots along the Margaret River coast that offers calm, turquoise waters for swimming, you’ll enjoy each destination as much as you’ll enjoy the journey.

Every dollar raised will help families who have lost everything to disaster or crisis.

Disasters can strike anywhere, at any time. Having somewhere dry and warm to sleep, to prepare meals and be with your family is vital for starting the long process of rebuilding your life.

Our signature ShelterBoxes and ShelterKits contain the tools to transform lives and rebuild communities after a disaster or crisis. The funds you raise on this challenge can provide shelter from the elements, clean water to prevent illness, solar light for safety, blankets and ground sheets for protection, tools to repair homes.

ShelterBox prides itself on its ability to respond quickly and in order to do so, we maintain a high level of stock and a continuous pipeline of aid. To achieve this we must have access to funds before a disaster strikes and be able to replenish stocks immediately afterwards. It is for this reason that we cannot raise funds for particular projects, instead, all funds raised will go into our ‘ShelterBox Solution’ fund. This fund allows to be flexible and respond quickly, in the most appropriate manner. Here is how your funds can make a difference:

  • $30 could pay for a solar light
  • $50 could pay for a water filter
  • $100 could pay for a ShelterKit
  • $500 could pay for a Relief Tent
  • 1,000 could pay for a complete ShelterBox

Together we can help rebuild communities after disaster strikes. Join us and help ensure no family goes without shelter following disaster or humanitarian crisis.
