2017- what a year!

2017-  we’ve had a big one! We moved offices, grew the team, added new destinations, and of course adventured all over the world!

By the numbers

Our inspired adventurers were a busy bunch this year! How busy? Well, not that you can quantify the sweat, inspiration, and total impact our fundraisers make, but this might give you an idea…

In 2017, our adventurers:

Cycled: 18,614 kilometres in Cambodia and Vietnam
Trekked: 35,054 kilometres of The Great Wall, Sumatra, Nepal, Larapinta, Kokoda and beyond.
Ran: 1,218 kilometres of marathon course
Climbed: 403,092 metres up Kilimanjaro and Everest Base Camp

We moved offices

While we were sad leave our lovely sandstone office in Darlinghurst, we literally could not cram another person in, and so we knew it was time to find a new home! We said goodbye to Darlinghurst and hello to Surry Hills at the beginning of the year. And what a place to be!

We won an award!

We were delighted and honoured to be named one of Westpac’s Businesses of Tomorrow for 2017.

Popular and new destinations

Larapinta Trek — Continues in popularity with many Australians taking on the challenge of this stunning outback trek, sleeping under the stars and re-connecting with our land. Inspired Adventures operated 8 Larapinta challenges in 2017 and is growing that number to 12 Adventures in 2018. High demand for this destination has departures also already filling for 2019! This is a truly spiritual journey to undertake while raising funds for your chosen charity partner.

Great Wall of China — Inspired operated 8 Great Wall of China adventures in 2017 with the same number so far scheduled to China for 2018. There is growing demand for this inspirational trek on the Great Wall. For a truly challenging journey our travellers are choosing this adventure to push through their comfort zone for a real sense of achievement as a team. We have seen such inspiring teams climb the wall in 2017 and looking forward to seeing what our 2018 fundraising teams can accomplish!

Plan now to join the Inspired movement and be part of an amazing team of change with these exciting growing Inspired destinations for 2019: Sumatra, Japan, India, Ireland and Fiji.
