Dr James Lawrence is a Sports and Exercise Medicine Physician. He works in two specialist sports medicine clinics in Sydney, where he sees acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries as well as medical problems as they apply to sport and exercise.
James is currently the Chief Medical Officer for the Australian Paralympic Winter Sports team, and in recent years has travelled as part of the high performance team with Rowing Australia as well as multiple teams within the different football codes.
He has a strong interest in Expedition, Wilderness and Altitude medicine, and has had the privilege of working with Inspired Adventures over the last few years. This has provided the opportunity to combine travel and medicine in remote areas, as well as working with groups of amazing people who are passionate about the causes they support.
